Formally educated in Literature, History, and Theology, V Madame took up the study of Tarot some 25 years ago, after receiving a deck as a gift. An avid reader from late babyhood, she had always indulged her particular fascination for the mysterious whenever the mood struck. But when the opportunity coincided with her newfound ability to read Tarot with an astonishing accuracy, she was mystified.

And so, what had been mere dabbling became her full-time occupation. V Madame haunted libraries, bookstores, and secondhand shops. She enlisted the aid of librarians and book dealers to find yet more sources mentioned in the books she had read. She copied rare and valuable texts by hand, sketched and photocopied their illustrations, diagrams, and charts. She filled binders with a vast assortment of drawings, sigils, spells, grimoires, and incantations--no subject was taboo to V Madame.

V Madame continues to seek knowledge across the farthest ranges, but her first and true love is Tarot. Ever intrigued by its Mystery, V Madame does not claim to know how or why the Tarot is always right, but only to know that the Tarot IS always right. Among the Occult Arts, it is in Tarot alone that V Madame claims Mastery.
